The Puma Faas 600 v2 Running Shoe's improved upper design employs new tooling and innovative materials to deliver lightweight support and a bespoke fit. EVERFIT intersects the lacing eyelets and cinches the midfoot to apply an adaptive lockdown that can be altered by tightening the laces, whilst a lightweight, foamed AirMesh material allows air to fully permeate the upper's interior. A series of reflective overlays straddle it to reinforce the shoe's structural integrity without adding undue weight and act to preserve the wearer's visibility in poor light. neutralCELL cushioning technology comprises a series of separate elements to deliver optimal cushioning and an efficient transition from heelstrike, to midstance, to toe off; a deeply striated Transition Line extends from the heel to toe, mimicking the natural gait pattern, whilst a series of lateral release grooves and decoupled heel work in concert to attenuate the rate of pronation. A propriety FAAS Foam+ midsole compound affords the shoe's primary cushioning ability, delivering a springier feel, greater resilience and a formidably smooth ride. An EverRide blown rubber outsole compound facilitates a more responsive toe off, whilst EverTrack technology augments areas that are particularly prone to wear and in turn increase the shoe's overall longevity.
